Lin Woldendorp (1994) is an autonomous photographer, she lives in and works from Amsterdam. She publishes in among others daily newspaper Het Parool, Saturday magazine PS, de Volkskrant, cross-media platform VICE and photographs for CJP.
Previously, Lin could mainly be found in front of the camera as a model. However, the perfection of the modeling world didn't suit her and she soon left it behind. Lin's focus is on portrait photography, with a fashion-like quality. However, her images are less styled or staged as is common within mainstream commercial fashion photography.
Lin likes to experiment with color, playful forms and an alternation of organic shapes and straight lines. She becomes fascinated with people, is always looking for the raw edge and likes to bring out the pure in the person she portrays.
Lin was selected as GUP New Talent 2021, Fresh Eyes 2021 and came in third place for the Zilveren Camera award – running in the portrait photography category.
